Physics Wallah already charges less than most ed-tech platforms in India. But a lot of students do not realise that there are several ways to bring the cost down even further — sometimes dramatically. I work with over 50,000 students through the PW Campus Ambassador program, and these are the five methods that come up the most. None of them are gimmicks, and all of them are being used by students right now in July 2026.
1. Use a Campus Ambassador Coupon Code
This is the most straightforward option. PW issues unique coupon codes to its official campus ambassadors. When you enter one of these codes at checkout — whether on the PW app or on pw.live — you get an instant price reduction. No forms to fill, no approval process. Just paste and pay less.
My code is 0031SALE, and it works on every batch that PW offers — JEE, NEET, GATE, UPSC, SSC, Banking, CA, MBA, Foundation, PW Skills, and everything in between. The discount ranges from Rs. 150 to Rs. 5,000 depending on the course price.
A lot of websites publish random coupon codes that are either expired, batch-specific, or just made up. The advantage of an ambassador code is that it is officially tied to a real person (me) who you can reach out to on WhatsApp if anything goes wrong. It is the most reliable type of PW discount code available online.
2. Take the PWSAT or CTSE Scholarship Exam
If you want the single biggest discount possible on a PW course, this is the way. Physics Wallah regularly conducts scholarship tests — the PWSAT (Physics Wallah Scholarship Admission Test) and CTSE — that are open to all students. Based on your performance in these tests, you can receive anywhere from 50 percent to 100 percent off on your course fees.
To put that in perspective: if a NEET or JEE batch costs Rs. 6,000 and you score well enough to qualify for a 90 percent scholarship, you pay just Rs. 600. Students have done this. It is a real outcome, not a marketing promise.
The registration for these tests happens through the PW app. There is no fee to take the test — you just register, sit the exam, and your scholarship percentage is determined by your score. PW opens new registration windows every few months, so check the app periodically or follow their Telegram channels for announcements.
For students interested in PW Vidyapeeth — the offline coaching centres — PWSAT is also the admission route, and the scholarship applies to offline fees as well.
3. Enroll During Seasonal Sales
PW runs platform-wide sales multiple times throughout the year. During these windows, batch prices drop across the board — no coupon code needed. The discounts are applied automatically on the pricing page. Here are the major ones:
- GOAT Sale (July): Currently live right now (July 15–20 for JEE and NEET, July 18–26 for CBSE and ICSE). This is the lowest pricing of the season.
- Vishwas Diwas (February): Runs around Republic Day. Heavy discounts across all categories.
- Batch Launch Offers: When a new batch is announced — like the Yakeen NEET 3.0 2027 launching July 26 — early enrollment pricing is typically lower than the regular price.
- Festival Sales: Diwali, Holi, and Independence Day usually bring limited-time offers as well.
Here is the part that makes this especially valuable: the ambassador coupon code stacks on top of sale prices. So you can get the sale discount first, then apply 0031SALE for an additional reduction. Very few students know about this, but it is the most effective way to minimise your total cost.
4. Use the Refer and Earn Program
Inside the PW app, there is a Refer and Earn feature. The way it works: you share your unique referral link with friends. When a friend purchases a course through that link, you earn cashback that can be applied to your own future purchases.
The practical way students use this:
- Open the PW app and go to your profile section
- Find the Refer and Earn option and copy your referral link
- Share it with classmates, friends, or people in your study groups
- When they enroll through your link, you earn a reward
- Use the accumulated rewards as a discount on your next purchase
If five or ten friends in your circle are all planning to buy PW courses, you can coordinate so that everyone uses each other's referral links. It is not a huge amount per referral, but it adds up — especially when combined with a coupon code.
5. Use Free Resources First, Then Upgrade
PW has one of the largest libraries of free educational content in India. Their YouTube channel has thousands of lectures covering complete syllabi for JEE, NEET, and other exams. The PW app also regularly offers free batches — for example, the MP ADPO 2026 Free Batch that launched on July 16.
If your budget is extremely tight, you can start your preparation using these free resources. Once you are ready to commit to a structured paid batch, apply a coupon code to get the reduced price.
One more thing worth mentioning: always check both the PW app and the pw.live website before paying. Pricing and promotions sometimes differ between the two platforms. App-exclusive deals, prepaid payment discounts, and platform-specific banners can give you an extra edge. Following PW's official Telegram channel for your target exam is the best way to catch limited-time offers before they expire.
Putting It All Together
Here is a rough sense of how much each strategy can save you:
- Ambassador code (0031SALE): Rs. 150 to Rs. 5,000 off
- Seasonal sale (GOAT, Vishwas Diwas): 20 to 40 percent off
- PWSAT scholarship: 50 to 100 percent fee waiver
- Referral cashback: Rs. 100 to Rs. 500 per referral
- Free resources: zero cost for supplementary preparation
In the best case — a strong PWSAT score combined with enrollment during a sale period and an ambassador code on top — you can get a premium PW batch for 90 percent less than the listed price, or sometimes almost free. That is not theoretical. Students have done it.
